Momma Kitty is a mature kitty of roughly eight to ten years who belongs to Dr. Andrea Duvall, DVM a veterinarian at South Clackamas Veterinary Service.
When Momma showed signs of pain, “it took me awhile to arrive at a diagnosis,” said Dr. Duvall. “She will in some cases just be resting, will awake with a start, and will begin forcefully licking a spot on her upper back. Dr. Duvall started researching different non-drug options for Momma after her diagnosis. Although Dr. Duvall is certified in acupuncture, Momma isn’t the most receptive to it. She has a laser at the clinic, and used it initially, but didn’t see much of a response. Additionally, Dr. Duvall lives lives 30 minutes from the clinic, “and she does not relish the car ride.” The Assisi loop seemed like the next logical step. I was reading how Kitten lady used this on one of her babies yesterday and it was one of the thins that helped save this baby’s life. It’s certainly a miracle product.
